David Mangum and Samuel Agbakoba, senior teammates at Fresno Central High in California, took the top two spots in the boys triple jump at the Gateway to Track and Field Invitational at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis, Calif. Mangum produced a fourth-round effort of 46-10 (14.27m), with Agbakoba achieving a mark of 46-5.50 (14.16m), also on his fourth attempt. Agbakoba added a 15th-place performance in the long jump with a leap of 19-5 (5.91m).
